• Collaborate with Planetek Hellas on environmental monitoring, agriculture, infrastructure, air quality, climate change analysis, and more.

💡 Format: 2-day course (16 hours) – mix of lectures and hands-on project work 
🎓 Certificate: Issued upon successful completion of all course activities 

📚 Training Modules 

• Introduction to Earth Observation & Remote Sensing 

• Python Programming for Cloud-Based Processing 

• Project Work Themes: 

• Burned area extraction 

• Water body detection 

• Forest and impermeable surface mapping 

• Flooded area identification 

🖥️ Participants must bring a Windows laptop. All software will be provided via the cloud environment. 

✅ Who Should Apply 

We’re looking for graduates, PhD holders or professionals with a background in: 

• Aerospace 

• Computer Science 

• Remote Sensing 
• Geography

• Earth Sciences 

• Physics, Mathematics 

• Agriculture or Environmental Engineering

🎯 Preferred Applicant Profile 

We are looking for motivated candidates with the following profile: 

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a technical-scientific field 

• Technical knowledge aligned with the course topics 

• Experience in processing environmental or geospatial data 

• Python programming skills 

• Completion of the free Premium “Basic Remote Sensing Course” on the EO-Learning platform (credentials provided upon application) 

• Fluent English and Greek (minimum B2 level)
