Artwork Coordinator -Malta based

PharOS is currently looking for a self-directed, change agent, energizer, and hands – on Artwork Coordinator (AC_1120) to join the team based in our manufacturing site in Malta.

 

The ideal candidate will participate as a member of the Production team, partner with team colleagues and contribute under the wider scope of the department’s tasks.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage packaging artwork and process flow between customers & suppliers
  • Facilitate the completion of Finished Good BOMs by creating packaging component parts and maintaining packaging BOMs
  • Maintain up-to-date records including electronic files and physical samples
  • Review and manage relationship with external artwork agencies
  • Prepare specifications; receive and evaluate bids from printers
  • Check and evaluate proofs
  • Maintain quality control and review completed artwork
  • Determine job costs, methods, and materials
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and ensure preferred supplier compliance
  • Generate/control/update/amend the PDS & Change Control documents regarding the new AWs
  • Update ERP & other internal databases for the AWs’ status
  • Monitor new market trends in packaging and design innovation  

 

Experience & Qualification

  • Academic background in a similar field
  • 1 to 3 year of experience with demonstrated accomplishments in a relevant role
  • Excellent English oral communication and writing skills
  • PC literacy. Microsoft Navision will be considered as asset
  • Excellent organizational, communicational and problem-solving skills
  • Complexity management and strong negotiation skills
  • Team working spirit
  • Ability to deliver under specific and demanding deadlines
