A prestigious scholarship programme has just been announced by The University of Manchester.
The Faculty of Science and Engineering is offering a number of Dean’s Doctoral Scholarship Awards to postgraduate research students with a profile of academic excellence.
The fully funded awards provide financial support for a 3.5 year period and includes tuition fees at the international rate, an annual maintenance stipend equivalent to UKRI minimum stipend rate and an annual £1000 Research Training Support Grant.
The Awards are open to all nationalities and across all research areas and have been created to reward postgraduate research students with a profile of academic excellence. Full details on who is eligible and how to apply can be found here https://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-research/funding/opportunities/display/?id=00000447
However, deadlines are tight for people who don’t yet have an academic offer to start a PhD programme in September 2021. Interviews will take place in May, so to be in with a chance of making this shortlist, interested candidates should get in touch with the Faculty admissions teams by 12 April 2021 to discuss how to best progress a PhD application in time for the funding deadline.
