Simon is delving into data science to eradicate stereotypes and prejudices regarding hiring processes in the employment field. Charalambos is researching the fabrication of automatic wheelchairs for the rehabilitation of people with special needs. Kleio is envisioning a greener world and explores hybrid systems for carbon sequestration. Manolis is developing algorithms to relieve our everyday life of unnecessary processes so that we will enjoy more free and creative time. Stephanos is building robots that will fight against climate crisis. Lina is learning about different civilizations and hopes for a fairer world, with tolerance towards diversity. These, along with 7,526 residents, open new roads with their knowledge, talent, and ideas that make our society a better place.
The City of Tomorrow opens its doors again and invites young people with innovative ideas and bright mindsets to inhabit it. Applications for the Onassis Foundation Scholarship Program – Academic Year 2023-24 are now being accepted.

Applications and supporting documents can only be submitted online. Scholarships are addressed to candidates who have Greek citizenship and/or nationality or to candidates who have graduated from a Greek university and hold a High School Diploma from Greece, provided that they have a legal residence permit in Greece.
